Shiraz is an Irani restaurant located at the Gandara Mall on Stratford Avenue in Wellawatte. There are only few staff members, which makes it quite cost effective for the management of this restaurant. It is a courses restaurant. If you are first time to this restaurant, the female steward will explain to you on how things work around the restaurant. You are first served with soup, which is reasonably tasty. While you are enjoying your soup, you are served with some delicious bread along side some delectable gravies. After you have your soup, you will have to serve yourself to a buffet that a few things on display. The food is very delicious, but it is not enough for us. There is ample parking at the Gandara Mall. The water closets (WC) is pretty vanilla looking. The interior furniture of the restaurant is of wood antiques. There is a large carte wheel on the roof, which provides light to the place. There is only one female steward that does most of the work. It is not an expensive restaurant and quite affordable for the average person.
