Description
Siam House, Some dishes are great, and economical, and a change from standard Chinese foods. They have plenty of parking and several dining areas. The upper floor is the best one facing the car park with piped music and very oriental decor.

Hey, why don't you write a review ?
Tantalizing food and good service, i will surely recommend, its a bit over pried though !
Siam house is good thai resturant. Good hot butter cuttlefish. but rice is oily. relaxing place
Used to be quite decent. Lacks consistency nowadays though. Sometimes you go there and the food is quite good and upto standard. Sometimes its absolute crap and isn't even the same colour its supposed to be (e.g. pineapple salad being a yellowish green compared to its usual spicy orange this one time really put me off)..
This restaurant is one of the best Thai restaurants in Colombo, but is in urgent need of renovation. Lets start with the interior. The interior has been looking the same for the last couple of years. The thorn carpet needs changing. The washrooms are too small with stains on the mirrors and water around the sink area. The furniture is very uncomfortable. The staff uniform needs to be change as it looks old fashion and very vanilla. The staff need to be informed on the availability of dishes. Now lets focus on the exterior. The exterior needs also to be changed with more car park slots. The security post needs to be shifted to a side so that more vehicles can be parked.
Siam house was one of the first and still is one of the best Thai restaurants in town, the seafood fried rice, Crispy Modha in the Chilli Thai sauce or the Fried Crab Meat with a Combination of Egg & Chilli Sauce/Curry Powder are probably the best dishes on the menu. On the negative side, its high time for a renovation, with most of the decor and uniforms reminiscent of the 80s-90s. The up stair verandah though is a definite exception, with soft lighting and an up market feel.
