Hi, I'm Dev. I came to your Parlour yesterday(27th of Feb 2015). I use to come often. The ice cream cone they served yesterday is not the usual quantity. There was no value for money. When I told your manager he was not bothered to listen to me. Usually I use to have two scoops. Too bad I was really disappointed so I didn't go for my second round. The person served us yesterday I think she's new to the place. There were some other customers who were really disappointed too! Hope you'll look into this! Thanks, Dev 0777547291
Ice cream's okay. The Fruits & Nuts one is better but like everyone says, the service is not good. They don't smile and the place is in DIRE need of a renovation! Makes it unappetizing to eat there.
Variety of ice creams, crappy service and definitely needs a renovation defines Carnival.
Their old haggly security guard is an absolute legend!
This ice cream parlour is located on the newly revamped Galle Road. There is car part available inside, but when they park vans, the other vehicle have to be parked on the road. The parlour does look the same, since my small days. There is a smell, when you enter the parlour. After you get the bill, you have to stand for a long time to be served. The ice cream ladies never smile. The washrooms are very dirty and below average. The parlour needs to be revamped quickly.
The ice cream is extremely good, the only issue is the place is falling apart. It has so much potential. It still has that charm but is in desperate need of a renovation.
Try the Coffee Mocca. Very Strong. Three scoops of CF's definitely going to get you swaying. Try vanilla , chocolate choc chip , strawberrry, with chocolate sauce banana and wafers ;)
The oldest extant ice cream parlour, with the same perennial menu. Lacks quality, only for the cost-conscious.
They do have good ice cream, but the service?? Shitty service. After you get the bill from the cashier, you gotta stand looking for the people who serve to come out of screen. Very bad service.
