The Cricket Club Cafe
Founded in 1996 the Cricket Club Café was the first of it’s kind in the country. Cricket being the most popular sport in the country the café attracts a large crowd both local and foreign, young and old each night. The café serves many different cuisines but focuses more on Western themed food.
Environment
The Cricket theme continues inside the restaurant with decades worth of cricket memorabilia adorning the walls. The café is reasonably clean although it could be a bit better. The toilets are a bit shabby but clean and perfectly usable. The restaurant has its own bar. On nights when there are cricket matches- they are broadcasted live on various screens around the café to further promote the cricket atmosphere. There is a large seating area. The Atmosphere is usually loud and alive-almost like that of a British Pub.
Service
Service is reasonably good but more often than not you are kept waiting quite a long time for your food. The staff are helpful and carry out their duties with reasonable efficiency.
Food
There is a great selection of food including dishes from around the world focusing on British/American Cuisine. The menu is entirely cricket themed with many dishes containing cricketer’s names or cricket terminology. The food is decent with some dishes being specialities. The Chicken and Mushroom pie and the Nacho’s are favorites here. Ice Cream Soda’s are a popular choice of beverage.
Value For Money
Prices are a bit high for a restaurant of this kind but are still somewhat affordable. Cheaper than dining at a Five Star Hotel but the food is almost as good.
Overall
A truly unique restaurant that has remained popular despite the high prices. The Cricket Club Café needs some renovation here and there but overall a good restaurant.

A great place to go. a great place to release the stress!! i can recommend for anyone. Good service. Price is also reasonable.

Been coming here for years - consistent taste, portions and experience. Good value for money, staff are helpful and a good selection.
The Cricket Club Cafe is located on Queens Road opposite Cozy Linen. The cafe is decorated in theme of cricket. There are many cricketing memorabilia. The management of the cafe are an Australian couple. There are many LED screens screening past and present cricket matches. The burger are very popular including the prawn Caesar salad and there are many other popular dish. There also a sport bar, which is can get very busy during many an international sporting events. The cafe is also very popular among tourists. Parking can be an issue, with other restaurants located in the same area.
Nice place- Good Atmosphere, Cricket themed Decor and Menu. Very popular even on weekday nights. There's good variety when it comes to food and alcholic/non-alcholic beverages. Service is good and reasonably quick.
