You can eat second-rate hamburgers in Ella or you can get stuck into top-notch rice and curry at the Jade Green Tea Centre & Restaurant. No others diners were there when we arrived and no-one turned up during the two-and-half hours we were there, so don't let that put you off. This is food made with love. The service from the lady cook was delightful. 1100 rupees for two curries plus a Lion beer and pudding for desert.
